Badgers are an ancient symbol of strength and survival. We fought yet another awful badger cull this year in 2019 with 11 new zones being announced despite further evidence that it may indeed increase the disease, TB, due to fragmentation of badgers. The figures of the death toll are staggering and hard to imagine. I hope our stripey woodland friends can survive another year.
