The hedgehog reads:
Hedgehogs are in decline in Britain and numbers of hedgehogs have fallen by up to 30% in urban areas and 50% in rural areas since the millenium and a third of British wild bees and hoverflies are in decline. If you do accidentally disturb a hibernation nest, cover it back over with a thick layer of dry leaves and perhaps leave some dog food and water nearby for hedgehogs, so if they do wake up, they cna easily find something to eat before they go find a new hibernation spot and rebuild their nest.
For each card of this design sold 20p will go to Chipping Sodbury Hedgehog Rescue.
The Fox back reads:
Across Britain's rolling countryside, rural communities will gather on Boxing Day for the annual fox-hunting meetings, depsite the tradition being as divisive as ever, 15 years after the Hunting Act was introduced. Unfortunately depsite claiming to be drag hunting, most hunts are still found to be hunting foxes with a pack of hounds who brutally tear them apart once caught. This Boxing Day spare a moment to think of those in peril, or better yet support your local hunt sab groups.
For each card of this design sold 20p will go to the Bath Hunt Sabateurs.
The bat back reads:
This year bats got a bit of a bad rep, despite it being human interaction that causes diseases. Therefore as a bat carer I have focussed a great deal of my work this year highlighting the beauty and intruiging bizarreness of bats. We have so much more to learn from the creatures around us and need to treat them with equal respect and dignity.
For each card of this design sold 20p will go to Severn Wildlife Rescue.
