"Under Threat - overfishing in the UK waters means puffins face extinction". A4 fine art print

Conservationists are concerned about the overfishing of sand eels and whitebait by humans which is thought to be resulting in the starvation and death of many seabirds, including the puffin.

Puffins could soon go extinct for climate change reasons and because 'EU boats are overfishing UK waters'.

The reason the blue background of my new puffin painting doesn't reach the edge is to depict the lack of food source and habitat closing in around our native puffins. I tried to make quite a high impact piece and enjoyed experimenting with a background wash showing though.
